From the Principal

As a neighborhood resident of the Cunningham Community, I can’t express enough how excited I am to represent my community, my family, and Cunningham Middle School as the new principal. It is with great pride that I take on the responsibility of ensuring that our students have every possible opportunity to be successful in the classroom as well as in the real world. We have some challenging times ahead of us, but I have no doubt that our students will rise to the level of expectations set before them. Rest assured that there is committed and caring staff who is working hard every day to provide the best and most effective instruction to prepare students academically for the next level.

As a former Foy H. Moody High School graduate, it is extremely important for me to create a strong partnership with our high school to ensure our students have the skills and the tools necessary to be successful as they transition to the next level. It is imperative that our students understand the expectation that college is the ultimate goal.

To our parents, please know that I am committed to developing relationships so that your sons/daughters feel supported and part of a greater family. I encourage you to join us at our school, in our meetings, and on the field as we strive to enhance our community and our school. Parental support plays a huge role in the successes of a campus so please accept my invitation to be in our school and on our team.
